A very important development took place in Denmark on the 31st of March, 2018: The Great Dane Alliance was formed, to preserve the classic, unadulterated Great Dane type. The Great Dane Club of Denmark also just published a very significant Great Dane Booklet, detailing the breed's real history and the Club's determination to preserve the breed as it should be. So it is Very Important to keep up the pressure on the recipients of our petition, to avoid as possible the damage being done to this historic and valuable breed and the individual dogs.
