Why Is Ontario Giving Millions to a $67 Billion Company?

The barge is in place, purchased in TC Energy has started offshore geotechnical investigations, funded by YOUR $285 million in taxpayer dollars. That money is being used to help them refine their proposal. Outrageous.
Here’s a question for the business-minded:

When’s the last time a client paid you to prepare a proposal for them? TC Energy stands to profit—so why aren’t THEY covering the pre-development costs?

This is outrageous, using the 285 million tax dollars signed by Minister Lecce (former Education Minister) to an Alberta Corporation for a project that was twice rejected by the IESO. This project has NO Federal or Provincial approvals....

All this action by Ontario Goverment defies Canadian Democracy!
