Your emails and presence are making a difference.  TC Energy seems to be on the defensive. In the past week, they have blitzed Councils at municipalities around Georgian Bay, especially those that have passed resolutions opposing their pumped storage proposal at Meaford, trying to pressure them to reverse their stance.

The company is scheduled to address the Town of Parry Sound this Tuesday, April 2. 

What you can do:

1. Write a letter today if you can. Email addresses are below.
2. Attend the meeting on Tuesday if you are able.

TC Energy put pressure on Owen Sound's council last Monday to pass a vote of full support for the project. But your letters to councilors and presence at the meeting pushed councilors to make it "conditional". It's worth a similar effort to write a letter and/or attend the meeting in Parry Sound.

TCE will be making its pitch about the benefits of its pumped storage proposal and trying to persuade Parry Sound Council to drop its opposition. Parry Sound is one of four municipalities that have passed resolutions opposing the company's proposal. TCE is visiting them all to try to get them to change their minds. We'd like to encourage the Parry Sound councilors to maintain their opposition and remind them about the irreparable harm to the waters of Georgian Bay that TC Energy's proposal would cause.
