This month marks 400 years since the first Thanksgiving celebration in November 1621, when the Wampanoag feasted with the Pilgrims at Patuxet (Plymouth). It marks 170 years since the Duwamish in Seattle welcomed the Alki Party. The Duwamish have lived on this land since time immemorial. Yet today, they are still waiting for the federal government to honor its treaty promises. Please keep sharing this petition within your network.
