Roughly 47,000 american men are proven to be falsely accused of rape by women each year. I suggest that if it is proven that someone purposefully falsely accuses another person of rape that the accuser receive the punishment that the person that the accused would, if they were found guilty. The fact that women can accuse men of rape without consequence and that the mere accusation of rape can ruin their lives I believe that it is only fair that those who seek to ruin other's lives are punished for their actions. Not only will this bring justice for the men who's lives are destroyed but the fear of the consequences will cause false rape allegations will plummet.
