Too many children die in the water, too many children are disabled fo life because of accidents in the water. If the medicare system could part pay for swimming lessons this would make it more affordable for parents to have their children learn to swim and reduce the death and disablement toll caused to children and their families. There would also be a great saving in health care dollars for looking after these children into the future.
