Currently, Citizen Band Radios are limited to 4 Watts on AM, 12 Watts on SSB.  These limits were put in place largely to reduce possibility of radio frequency interference.  Now that most phones and televisions are high-tech, and that there are far less CBs in operation today than years ago, CB interference has become less likely and the current power limit is thus obsolete.

We petition the FCC to increase the legal output limit of CB Radios to 12 Watts on AM and 36 Watts on SSB.
