Hi Everyone, I wanted to share an update about a public event being planned by a group of patients and advocates to deliver all of the signatures from our campaign and other GM604 petitions to Congress next week. I know it is last minute, but please take a look at the information below, and if you are in the area or could get to D.C. please consider participating! -- Please join us this Wednesday, March 25th, to show your support for faster drug approvals for ALS starting with Accelerated Approval for GM604. We will meet at noon in the Upper Senate Park next to the Capitol Building. Staff from Change.org will be on hand to assist us. If you have a friend or family member with ALS that cannot attend, please bring a placard with their photo. Event details can be found at http://www.meetup.com/ALS-Faster-Drug-Approval/events/221241679/ Please RSVP on the MeetUp page so we have an idea how many to expect. While we are in D.C., we'll be taking the opportunity to visit U.S. Senators' offices. If possible, please make appointments so you can visit with your congressional representatives either before or after the rally. Real human interaction with those affected by this horrible disease is the most effective tool we have.
