Ein Sponsoringvertrag mit „Visit Rwanda“ bedeutet nicht nur finanzielle Unterstützung für ein Regime, das systematische Gewalt an Menschen ausübt, sondern auch Imagepflege für ein Land, welches die Werte des Vereins und der Menschlichkeit missachtet.
Am 25. Januar 2025 wurde die Provinzhauptstadt Goma in der DR Kongo gewaltsam in den Krieg gestürzt. Die von Ruanda unterstützte M23-Miliz und ruandische Streitkräfte haben die Stadt brutal angegriffen. Menschen sterben auf den Straßen, Friedenshelfer*innen werden ermordet, Tausende fliehen - über 60 % sind Frauen und Kinder.
Unsere Forderung:
Wir fordern den FC Bayern München auf, den Sponsoringvertrag mit „Visit Rwanda“ sofort zu kündigen und sich klar gegen ein Regime zu positionieren, welches Menschenrechte verletzt. Ein Verein mit weltweiter Strahlkraft darf seine Werte nicht verraten!

The Problem
A sponsorship deal with “Visit Rwanda” not only means financial support for a regime that systematically commits violence against people, but also serves as image enhancement for a country that disregards the club’s values and those of humanity.
On January 25, 2025, the provincial capital Goma in the Democratic Republic of the Congo was violently plunged into war. The M23 militia, supported by Rwanda, along with Rwandan forces, brutally attacked the city. People are dying in the streets, peace workers are being murdered, and thousands are fleeing—over 60% of them are women and children.
Our Demand:
We call on FC Bayern Munich to immediately terminate the sponsorship contract with “Visit Rwanda” and to take a clear stand against a regime that violates human rights. A club with global influence must not betray its values!
