Over 20 of us at City Council wearing bright green vests! Here is a photo of some of our group.

Unfortunately, though we had great supporters and speakers at the podium, the City Council passed the variance for Phase 1 of developer SREG's destruction of Markham Hill. And the Mayor and City Council did not sufficiently answer or ignored our pointed questions about the City's and SREG's broken promises, lack of full impervious surface study, lack of full traffic study, Seth Mims' violations of his sworn testimony in Federal Court during the bankruptcy trial, and the City's complicity in ignoring the suspicious bankruptcy trial where SREG, the trustee, and judge made a deal about Markham Hill.

So, we fight on with renewed energy and perseverance! Our petition, yard signs, spreading the word, Weekly Markham Hill Moments of History, new web site, etc. We are going strong and increasing!
