Hello everyone.
Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to sign the petition and to whom have already shared some of their concerns. Your support shows how important this situation is to many families within our school community.
One of the parent's of this petition has shared face to face with a member from NET, that we will run the petition for a week and then it will end. This has now concluded.
We want to reassure you that your voices will be heard. We will be taking the concerns raised through the petition directly to NET Academies in an upcoming meeting. Our aim in that meeting will be to represent the collective views of parents and carers and clearly explain the issues many of us feel are affecting the school. The petition managed to gain 63 signatures, and we have an additional 17 concerned family members, who for whatever reason, weren't able to get their signature onto the petition. With this in mind, the figures show 30% of the school have concerns.
We mentioned within the petition about some parents were concerned about the Chair of governors for F&B holding a headship at another local NET primary school, causing a conflict of interests. We have been addressed recently by Jo Coton that this is being changed. We must take this as a small win. However, there are a few uncertainties around the new Chair of Governors with their previous connection. So we have thought of a few questions to ask for reassurance going forward.
What happens now?
■ A meeting will be agreed with NET in the very near future. A handful of us will attend. What we do not want is a big audience and absolutely no media presence.
■ We need your views/concerns ect. Can you please email these to fawbertsparentpetition@gmail.com at your earliest convenience. These need to be clear on what you want to say/ask. Even if your not sure if your concern is to be directed at NET or headship, let's use this opportunity to get your voices heard!

Please note we won't be presenting personal names ect as this isn't our right to do so, therefore if you are experiencing something that needs addressing ASAP, please follow F&B's or NET's complaints procedures.
If it looks like we have duplicate concerns, we will present these statistically rather than going over the same concerns numerous times.
This petition is about ensuring our children receive the best possible school experience and that parents feel heard and respected. We will approach the meeting in a calm, constructive way, but with the clear message that these concerns are shared by many families.
After the meeting, we will provide an update to everyone who has supported the petition so you know what was discussed and any responses given.
