Ellen Goodman, one of the best journalists of our time, has not been allowed to speak at our Catholic university because of one executive decision. She has not been allowed to come speak because she holds pro-choice viewpoints. She is not coming here to speak about her views on that subject, but on the importance of civil discourse. We, the students, would like to hear her views, in order to learn and grow from this experience. She has been invited here for the 25th anniversary of the lecture series on our campus.
