Regulation of animal treatment in farms should be a government-backed duty in our country. We, as consumers, have turned a blind eye for decades but it’s time we take a stand against the cruelty of animals in our farms. Animals don’t have a voice, so it is our humane duty to see that they are treated with dignity and respect while they are living on American soil. Inhumane treatment of farm animals has gone on long enough and if you only care about the quality of meat vs. the quality of animal’s life, this should matter to you as well. Hi, my name is Tara and it breaks my heart to see how animals were treated on Fairlife Farm and sadly, it doesn’t surprise me. I consume meat, but I believe animals should be treated with respect. We should set higher standards for our meat and dairy industry, to be held to a standard by which animals are looked after and treated with humanity. I feel we’re all just like, “It happens... There’s nothing I can do about it.” But I don’t think so. I feel like that’s why things don’t get done. Regulation of animal welfare should be a requirement. I put a petition up instead of just whining about it because whining does nothing. Please help me guys, I really think this is important and we can’t just sit by and let this continue to go on.
