How disrespectful can he be.

Married six months. Sitting Prime Minister. Asked to play "shag, marry, date" on a podcast — and he did it. Twice over, in fact: "all of the above".

He's since apologised "unequivocally". Took him days and media pressure.

Meanwhile, Albanese has said nothing, done nothing, and returned nothing about a documented family violence offender sitting on the NBN Co board for nine years, pocketing close to $1 million of public money.

So when it's a joke about a pop star, the PM moves fast.

When it's almost $1 million in taxpayer funds paid to a man with an ADVO against his name, there's silence.

Funny that.

The facts, again, because they still haven't been acted on:

Michael Malone has an ADVO against his name. He sat on the NBN Co board — a Commonwealth-owned enterprise — for nine years. In that time, he was paid close to $1 million of public money.

Nobody asked him to disclose it, because the government's own board appointment forms don't ask the question. That's not an oversight. That's a choice.

And that choice isn't happening in a vacuum.

Australia is in the grip of a family violence crisis. On current figures, a woman is killed by a current or former partner roughly every week to nine days. Meanwhile, survivors are turned away from legal aid funding, refuges routinely say no for lack of beds, and family violence services report they cannot meet demand.

Against that backdrop, this isn't a paperwork gap. It's a statement of priorities: a man with a family violence record can be handed almost $1 million of taxpayer money and a seat of public trust, while women fleeing violence are told there's no room and no funding.

We're not asking for an apology. We're asking for the money back.
