Congratulations on making the decision to commit yourself to doing everything you can to end the epidemic of gender-based violence in South Africa by signing the Interfaith Statement on change.org!
It is an honour for us to invite you to take the next step by attending a high-level meeting to launch a new joint Interfaith GBV Prevention and Mitigation Strategy 2024 – 2030.
To keep our promise in the statement that we would not end with words, we will also spend time on Action Planning. Please click here to see the Concept document.
To ensure that you are well-equipped for your ongoing journey, we will also launch another exciting initiative – a Community of Praxis which includes:
- an Online Learning and Engagement Platform as well as
- a multi-faith Resource Team that will offer in-person bespoke support (on request).

Strategy 2030, which was developed over 4 months of consultations, aims to provide a framework for the faith sector to generate a decisive and sustainable way forward. Let us know if you can embrace it in light of your own vision and work.
