Faison says chimney is to be saved!

Thank you everyone for your interest and support. With some information from supporters, and by contacting both workers at the site and the CFO, I was able to get definitive confirmation that the chimney stays. So, short petition! I was so passionate and feeling pressure from the activity at the mill that I didn't think to just ask the company myself. I couldn't be happier! The worker I talked to said that only the front part of the mill is coming down. He wasn't clear on whether the renovation would be offices or apartments. Please forgive me for taking up anyone's time needlessly. I am thankful to know there are people out there that care about preserving Charlotte's history.
