Dear all, we are continuing our work in different ways. Over the last days we have send an open letter to several prominent and influential persons in the mountaineering community, to leading expeditions companies and to the UIAA (International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation) and national Alpin & climbing clubs, in the hope that they will join our fight. This work will continue.
The investigation report of the accident leading to Mohammad Hassan's dead was published a few days ago and the committee suggest concrete, realistic and feasible measures which would indeed improve the porters conditions. Next week we are going to approach the authorities in Baltistan in hope for a constructive dialog and even collaboration.
That is why we need to continue the fight, by sharing of and talking and writing about the petition and our work ! Patiently we will make it work !
