(April 2023) The Alberta dental authority is ignoring repeated pleas to consider regulation in the Health Professions Act that allows a tribunal to force a dentist to refund a patient for treatment that is poorly done or unnecessary. Shockingly even a year later the authority staff and lawyers continue to make this error - even threatening the dentist who made this recording.
How else could we prove this dental authority does not have reference to patient refunds on their website, lacks the knowledge of the applicable section in the Health Professions Act and is NOT applying this regulation to MOST CASES involving poor treatment?
