I am honoured to provide a positive update on this situation with the proposed increase in the business parking for the Baltic Triangle from £50 to £750 per car per year.

With the support from everyone who signed this petition, and the fantastic article by Liam Thorp from the Liverpool Echo, the council has updated the fee again to £50 per year, and provided the following response: “Unfortunately, due to an administrative error a number of businesses in the Baltic Triangle have been mistakenly classified as sitting within the city centre parking zone. We will be writing to these businesses to clarify that their permits will not be rising to the new 2025 rate for this zone, and we apologise for the confusion this has caused.”
