Update re passport upload/ redaction

Dear all,

Thank you all for supporting this cause - I know it has been an emotional and tough journey at times. 

But today we have a little victory to share so WELL DONE to all who have voiced your concerns and stood up against a problematic system!

We have recently been in discussions with our own clubs and the DDSL direct, and have gotten confirmation yesterday that blacked-out passports with everything retracted except the name and DOB of your child(even passport picture) will be accepted and verified and your child can be registered.

I personally have uploaded the top of their birth certificate with only first name and DOB showing.

We believe there is a DDSL statement coming out soon, but in the meantime we wanted to share this information with you! 
It might create a solution to the issues of matches either being cancelled or unregistered kids being actively excluded from their teams in matches. 

We have also sent our own complaint into the DPC, which is now connected to all other complaints regarding the DDSL and SportLomo, and we sincerely hope that something will happen soon. Unfortunately they can’t give updates for cases under investigation, but they informed us that all cases are pooled together and are being progressed. 

We really hope the DPC will vindicate our concerns soon.
