Elon Musk take over of Twitter is a disaster to the LGBTQ community because hate and discrimination has gone up 1200% and not only that people who where originally booted from the platform are back on now spreading more lies about the LGBTQ community through posts and comments and of course Elon Musk who claims to be a free speech absolutionist is not for having fact checkers on the platform and would rather have things left unchecked and nothing done about hate speech on the platform, this isn't good because even more so then ever now we will see a raise in even more hate crimes in 2023 against the LGBTQ community and this is definitely another great reason section 230 needs to be revised and it's so that every social media platform is required to have fact checkers in place whenever false information is put out about the LGBTQ community and so that these platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and especially Twitter can be held liable and sued for deformation of character and unless section 230 isn't revised to protect the LGBTQ community things won't get better and they'll become worse because of these platforms and it's bad enough we have right wing politicians, right wing media and evangelicals putting out all of this disinformation that is harmful to the LGBTQ community which is another great reason to sign this petition so that these platforms can do a better job of protecting the LGBTQ community.
