Social media platforms are still failing to protect the LGBTQ community

For a second year now social media platforms are failing to protect the LGBTQ community from harressment and bullying and I am not at all surprised by this because they allow disinformation from right media to display disinformation and lies while allowing threats towards people in the community and not permanently banning people who threaten the community and as usual they sweep it under the rug and act like it's not a big deal when it should be because they need to fact check false information that is harmful to the community because otherwise if social media keeps doing nothing and sweeping it under the rug more people will get killed because of it and I think that if they did do a better job more people would make the choice to not vote for these individuals that keep trying to pass anti trans legislation and as it is this anti legislation is doing nothing but harm innocent people and as it is
