What does Transgender mean

Being Transgender is different from being gay because Trans is a identity that a person identifies as and is different from the gender giving at birth, being gay is dealing with sexuality and this is who a person is attracted to and isn't the same as gender dysphoria because a person who is transgender can identify as being gay, straight, lesbian or bi yet many people outside the LGBTQ community get sexuality and gender dysphoria confused and believe it's the same thing when it's not. Gender dysphoria or gender identity is who a person identifies as and being gay, lesbian or bi is who a person is attracted to which can be people of one sex or both sexes. Gay people or lesbians don't generally go by preferred pronouns either unless they are transitioning from male to female or female to male or are non binary, because people who usually identify with sexual orientation usually identify with the gender giving to them at birth.
