Site safety is a major issue when it comes to the LGBTQ community, Facebook, Instagram, twitter, YouTube and TikTok have allowed disinformation to take place against the LGBTQ community, things such as suggesting that we are going to add a p for support of pedophiles which is false and to claiming that the equality act would go against the safety of women which is false because we just want to use the restroom in peace and aren't there to sexually assault people usually sex predators are straight cisgender Men. These social media platforms have the tools to remove disinformation but aren't doing enough to counter the disinformation that occurs against the LGBTQ community, policy standards aren't equally enforced on social media platforms and often times because of this it causes more people to believe things that aren't fact based.
