DC Federation of Civic Association recognized DC Safe Streets Coalition for efforts to regulate E bikes. The term, E-bike, is a misnomer. They are not bikes at all, as e-bike injuries spike. They are motorcycles, and must be regulated like cars and motorcycles, particularly with license tags so riders can be known and held accountable.
