Shelters are still forced to euthanize for space while backyard breeders are pumping out litters to sell over the internet. No responsible breeder would ever sell an animal to someone they had never met in real life and it is far too easy to dupe a buyer who sees cute puppies for sale but doesn’t see where they come from and has no way to verify any claims the breeder may be making. Facebook and Instagram should be places for social connection; not a marketplace for people and animals to be taken advantage of.
