General Smuts High School is an inclusive public institution.

It's well being and reputation affects all past and current learners, all past and current staff, all past and current parents and all friends of the school. 

The administrators (John Papachristos, Michele Kortman, Elias Papacharalambous and   Gary Immelman) of the Facebook group have moved to remove all post democracy learners from the group and refuse them admission into the group. These would be all learners enrolled after 1995

I believe this type of exclusion resembles hate speech and cyber bullying. 

I believe they have the right to association, such a right is enshrined in The South African Bill of rights. I do not believe they may use the schools name to advance an association that segregates the society.

I am petitioning Facebook to have this group shut down. 

I am petitioning General Smuts High School to deny this group the use of its name either in full or part - any name associated to the name of the school. 

I am petitioning the administrators of the group to remove the name of the school from their group as their new rules do not represent the ideals and values of the school but in fact harm the reputation of the school and undermine the efforts of those who are committed to the restoration of harmony.   

An all inclusive society.
