In the group "Buy this, not that…A guide to BDS approved products," this Hitleresque message was posted: "Small actions can make a difference...make them work for putting Israel supportive products on their shelves". The context was as follows:
"This small action took place today, at the Rite Aid on 14th/7. There's a labor-element to this process. When store managers refuse to remove a product, their employees have to deal with constantly re-shelving it and time is money. #BoycottSabra"
This is reminiscent of Kristallnacht (attempting to destroy business and then making the business proprietors clean up the destruction) and the infamous "Arbeit macht frei". In fact, it is reminiscent of the very inspiration for the Holocaust: the words of Martin Luther:
"Burn down their synagogues, forbid all that I enumerated earlier, force them to work, and deal harshly with them..."
If "make them work for putting Israel supportive products on their shelves" is not reminiscent of "force them to work, and deal harshly with them", then I do not know what is.
Holocaustal and other Anti-Semitic language cannot continue on Facebook, and Facebook needs to see that at least 1,000 of us will not tolerate Anti-Semitic or other hate speech.
