This is the Support Inbox message that I received when I reported a picture of someone's genitalia with a caption of "Why circumcise...me" (The caption was in two separate messages. "Me" was in the message with the picture.): "Thanks for letting us know about the message you reported for harassment. We're following up with Ron Garcia about this to make sure they know about the Facebook Community Standards. Your name was kept confidential. Please let us know if you see anything else that concerns you. We want to keep Facebook safe and welcoming for everyone." Ron Garcia (whose names needs to be known, so that women and Jews like me can know whom to avoid) clearly targeted me because I am a Jew and a woman, and I have been in Facebook discussions about the circumcision-or-genital-mutilation debate. Mr. Garcia, then, clearly "know[s] about the Facebook Community Standards"; or else he would not have tried to violate the Facebook TOS. For Facebook to act like someone unknowingly violated their standards when he or she violated them in an egregious way is unacceptable.
