I had to write this letter after a Facebook user replied to one of my comments on a news article in order to attempt to shame and embarrass me for my beliefs. What happened to me is similar to what has happened to others, by the way. Even, for example, this comment was directed to a Facebook friend whom Facebook repeatedly refuses to protect from TOS violations: "You think they turned you off in Baltimore because you're in the media? They turned you off because you sold your Jewish and Hispanic soul to the GOP. And here you are trying to defend it. What a waste. If your Rabbi even knows you anymore, he's not impressed. And neither am I." The commenter targeted the said friend based on his ethnicity ("race or ethnicity") and religion.
