Dear Friends, Over 15,000 people -- including you! -- have signed my petition telling Facebook that “Fat is Not a Feeling.” Thanks to your support, our campaign has been covered by Glamour, The Washington Post, Cosmopolitan, and dozens of other news outlets around the world. While Facebook hasn’t responded to our petition, I’m confident that if we continue to make our voices heard, they will. Inkeri, from Germany, joined the campaign because she struggled as a child to navigate all of society’s negative messages about weight and dieting. Mizheel from Mexico is on board because those same harmful ideas about body size made her go on an extreme, dangerous diet when she was just 12 years old. Daniela, who lives in Brazil, started her campaign because she is a survivor of bulimia and she doesn’t want other young women to go down the same road.
