After the recent attacks in Paris it is heart warming to see people putting the French flag filter on their Facebook profile as a show of solidarity. It is dis-heartening however that even though similar attacks have recently occured in Nigeria, Kenya, Lebanon and other countries Facebook has still not created a profile picture filter to allow users to express solidarity with the people suffering in those parts of the world. Rather than just continue to complain about this lack of option in my own status updates, I decided to take action. Join me in calling upon Facebook to create a profile picture filter option for all countries.
