Once again I reported to Facebook a Troll's comment about my wife and I. The comment said "His Mrs wears a strap-on and then he bends over the bed in doggy position whilst wearing a g-banga, then as the tip of her 15-inch strap-on comes closer and tickeles he's dot he will deicde whether to just take his thong completely off or just slide it to the side for easy insetion. I wanna know which one he chooses". Facebook declined to delete it as it "does not breach community standards" and suggested I simply block the person so that I can't see what they write about me.
When only 1 in 10 victims of bullying online will inform a parent their abuse, the other 9 are relying on the ability of moderators to take action and remove insulting comments... but when this is the type of response they get from Facebook, it's no wonder they feel powerless. It's time Facebook looked at what their "community standards" are.
I will be launching a campaign called WORDS ARE WEAPONS with the help of the Nine Network in the coming weeks. Thank you for your support.
