Many horses enter the slaughter pipeline everyday bound for Mexico to be processed for human consumption. Knowing we will never stop this process as long as people eat horse meat. There is however a second chance for some of these horses. Several of the so called kill pen lots (slaughter buyers) offer these horses a second chance at life by posting them online (Facebook, Twitter, Etc.) as second chance horses. They post a rehoming price, as many details as they have available at the time and contact information where they can be reached. However now the people calling themselves rescues have decided the Kill pen buyers are a target for harassment, threats both online and in person , and getting their pages pulled by Facebook. The first problem with Facebook,Twitter and other sites pulling these pages is that the horses suffer in the long run because these people causing the problem for them have no idea what they are doing to these horses and that they have sent them to slaughter without a second chance. the Second problem is that Facebook takes the word of these people without any thought to the fact that just maybe they are making false accusation and telling lies. This impacts people and animals alike. Individuals take horses to auction for many different reason of which are non of my business however some of them are perfectly good animals just in need of new homes because maybe the previous owner couldn't care for them any longer,and they are at risk of being bought by what is called a killer buyer... but without these kill pen buyers such as Fabrizius livestock allowing people like me who has personally rehomed approximately 15 horses over the course of about 4 years to adopt and/or rehome them their fate is sealed to go across the border and please make no mistake these men and women have a job to do just like you and I meaning they will ship period if not rehomed. So I am begging please anyone and everyone who would like to see and believe these horses deserve a second chance at life to sign this petition so maybe we can send it to Facebook and open the eyes of those who believe they are doing the right thing pulling these pages from our view...... BRING THEM BACK.....I RIDE KILL PEN HORSES.....
