Written update is below for those who want to read it.

Hey everyone,

First, thank you thank you for signing this facebook petition when you did. Please join my email list at www.steveryan.com so that we can keep in touch.

Before I update you, if you don't already know, I have another petition going on to the white house & congress to stop people's wages from being garnished over medical bills.  You can read more about it and sign the petition at www.steveryan.com/activist  . It just crossed 5K signatures this morning.

Now, lastly, this facebook thing.  I can't even tell the whole story without making this email super long.  So I will get to the point first.  I finally got my page back and thanks to all of you, you really helped.  My url has been changed to www.facebook.com/therealsteveryan

But, what I would like to know from you all, is do you think I should close this facebook petition out and declare it a victory?  Or do you think that I should keep it open to help others who may be experiencing the same issue?

I'm a bit torn myself because I know there's bigger issues, like the medical petition.  This facebook thing was a blessing in disguise because it has turned me into an activist in general and it opened up so many other doors.  As crazy as this sounds, I'm glad it happened.

But I'm also still frustrated at the fact that it took so much effort and fighting to get the page back.  I know most people would not go through what i did to get it back.  That's the part that frustrates me is the fact that most people would just let it go.    Although I have the page back, facebook still has some pending things going on behind the scenes, so I don't know what's going to happen.

I'm a principle type of person and it was never about the page itself, it was about the principal of someone using my name and brand and the fact that this big company didn't do anything about it.  I made so much noise and did so much and was so close to filing a lawsuit, that it finally just worked out.

Alright, well let me know what you think.  Thank you for your continued support.
