Thank you to every one who has supported this movement.
I originally signed due to my own experiences. I'm very much supportive of good policing. I love the law and it is very vital for any society, to not only thrive but even function.
However, there is the flaw of humanity, that none of us can escape. Be it greed, or whatever.
We all have a flaw. We also already see a lot of brutality when not referencing these types of resources and equipment.
These systems have been compared to what our military uses to conduct surveillance on foreign enemies.Which potentially leave no level of evidence.
Also, we see energy interacting with our bodies sometimes.
We have very little transparency over how these surveillance equipments work so we have no way of knowing any real details.
The surveillance equipment is certainly necessary, but there should be transparency of its existence in any given area due to its sheer capabilities.
With transparency it would allow the concerned citizens the opportunities to feel safer knowing this level of advanced equipment and systems are effected by federal or executive acquisition & use policy.
We pray that our police officers will not see this as anti-authority. We pray for their wellbeing. We thank them each for their service. We pray for their support as we support the bond between citizen and peace maker.
We pray for our nation, always.
