WHAT IS THE VALUE OF A CHILDS LIFE IN MICHIGAN?!

30 Jan 2026 — UPDATE: Next month will be 8 months since my daughter was taken from shining her light and beauty onto the world around her. Her murder has been placed in a pile labeled ‘DENIED AND CLOSED’ for any charges against safe storage being violated. I’m urging you to consider placing yourself in my shoes for a moment. What would YOU do to protect your child from a situation like Faith’s? Your teenager, who attends a public school, signs up for an after school program or sport involving a firearm. They aren’t provided with an entrance pre test- let’s see what they know first- kind of thing. The students are not required to take a hunter safety course prior to joining. And furthermore- they are NOT, even briefly, asked a series of questions that would alert a mental healthcare professional or social worker there may be something going on with their mental wellbeing. So, they just walk onto a practice field with other teenage students, who also were NOT briefed by a healthcare provider for any signs or symptoms of mental distress.
