Dear All

Today in the Chancellor’s Spring Budget there was no mention of support for those on benefits, such as extending the Cost of Living Payment. Neither considering raising benefits so it meets affordability for all those in need, whether a Single Parent, Low Income Household, Disabilities. 

The extension for the Household Support Fund is only for 6 months which is temporary. This will not help the many of us who have already used this in the past year as you are only allowed to use this twice. 

This petition speaks volumes within its content about the impact the Cost of living is having on Food Banks, Nurseries, Energy Bills and the on going increase in prices. 

Together we can make a difference! If this petition reaches 100,000 signatures the Government will have to debate this in Parliament.

Let’s continue raising the awareness and push the government to make better decisions for the welfare of our children and families.
