Firstly, thank you so much for your support for the campaign and taking the time to sign and share the message far and wide.
 
Already in under 48 hours, we have had over 13,000 signatures which is just fantastic.
 
This is the first time we have used Change.org and since we went live on Sunday we have received some feedback around the 'donation' aspect to this platform.
 
Change.org is a B-Corp Certified Company and 100% legitimate but does have its own business model to finance its operations.
 
It's important to note that our campaign does not receive a single cent from any donations made. All of the money goes to Change.org to promote the campaign to more people with the aim of getting more signatures.
 
With that in mind and the fact that many of us are struggling already financially (hence this campaign), I'd really rather you PLEASE DO NOT DONATE ANY MONEY to this campaign.
 
If you have already, that's wonderful, but please be mindful of Change.org receiving the money - not us.
