Today Vernon City Council met and item 13.A1 on the agenda was to review a request for a formal letter of support to MOTT and BC Transit for Route 97 to be extended through to Vernon.

Mayor Victor Cumming and Councilor Dr. Brian Guy approved and seconded the motion!!

We now have support for an extension of BC Transit Route 97 by Lake Country, Vernon and MLA Sandhu.

Now it's up to BC Transit and MOTT to get the wheels on the bus in motion and DELIVER on the mandate letter from Premier Eby to improve Intercity Transit in the Okanagan!!!
