Dear Stephen Bali and Michael Tidball
My name is Angela ramsay of Blacktown and I’m seeking the support of my local MP for housing regarding the unlawful practices by nsw homes social housing.

https://www.change.org/ExposeNSWHomesforunlawfulpracticesinsocialhousing

I began this petition just a few days ago and have gathered 350 approx signatures and 11 stories from social housing tenants.

As you are my local housing MP, I’m asking for your support in the following areas:

Nsw homes not responding to tenants complaints.
Nsw homes not communicating with social housing tenants on their case matters.
Social housing not adhering to the nsw legislation; residential tenancy act when it comes to
: antisocial behaviour
Maintenance requests and repairs
Liability to poor workmanship on repairs causing injury to tenants.
Disrespectful and unprofessional behaviour towards tenants.
Social housing officers not implementing anti social behaviour management plans or following through with necessary evictions.
Tenants getting hurt, injured or dying in the process of waiting for repairs.

To date: I have enough signatures from tenants to seek a class action from a respective legal representation. However, I do not wish or have to proceed down that path.

I need your help in investigating these unlawful matters in the social housing nsw homes.
Tenants are screaming out for help and been dismissed of their cases. Tenants getting sick, injured or dying, waiting for help. This is unacceptable, unprofessional and cruel behaviour of how social housing treats their tenants.

This isn’t just a local issue in my area, but state wide.
Tenants deserve the right to live in their homes safely, peacefully and without fear, as per the nsw legislation; residential tenancy act.

I would appreciate your response, a face to face meeting , on how we can manage and move forward in this situation.

Angela Ramsay
