This week some unfortunate news to report. First I will say Appleton Today editor reached out to me. We had a phone conversation on Monday afternoon. Though pleasant, they at this time, will not do a story piece on this. They said for them it was not enough there for them to investigate. The primary reason I received from this is that the convicted molesters were not a position there to cause concern. However if new evidence of something came to light, they would want to hear it. However my view is this. They will not respond or meet with me. You would think that if a church would want to clear it's name in the community, they would jump at the chance to do so. They are not willing.
Also after a couple of weeks of trying no response from a kids ministry leader there by the name of Rachelle Van Linn. I have batted for a zero on kids ministry leaders and workers there. They will not reach back, leaving me with the impression they are told not to say anything or reach back. In looking at them deeper, I have found they are Facebook friends with the molesters. I mean you lead the kids and yet befriend and aid the molesters who would do them harm. Sounds really messed up to me. Of course they are free to reach out anytime but I would not hold my breath.
We are, as I send this out at 310 signatures. Of course since the church is hiding, this continues. Being silent does not exonerate them or make this go away. I am willing to acceot any new leads as who would be willing to investigate further and perhaps do a story piece on this. I still encourage all the supporters to send out this campaign to friends, family, coworkers, anyone who would be willing to listen and offer support. God Bless your day and support.
