We’re making progress, and your support keeps us moving forward! Here’s what’s happened so far:
We continue to grow this campaign. More signatures are coming in. I have been trying to do some media outreach in the area this past week. Unfortunately WBAY which orginally reached out to me has been quiet as I have reached back with them. I have also been trying to get a new outfit in the Fox Valley called Appleton Today to do something with this as Hope City Church is like ground ero since they are based in the same city. However after 3 attempts no response has been forthcoming. I know they have seen the messages because I did one on their Facebook messenger and someone checked it. They are a startup outfit and I thought they would be excited to do something with this to get them started but I guess not. I checked them out more and from what I can tell they are doing fluff/filler pieces and not any real hardcore news. They are basically copying work others have already done. If something changes I will be sure to report this to you right away.
I have also been continuing to reach out to the church directly with no response. I reached out to another kids ministry leader there and let them know they have until the end of Sunday to get back with me or they will be outed as the Doucette couple was recently. This church and their members continue to be silent and act like a closed off cult like place. That is not the way the Lord intended it to be.
I continue to ask for your assistance in sharing this cause in any way you can. I am disabled with limited resources here so any help is appreciated. I am glad to see we did have another donation or two working currently toward this. I never ask for money but if you wish to contribute it is appreciated and goes directly to the cause. I do not get a cent from it and do not want a cent from it.
Have a great week. God Bless.
