It has been a difficult week for people like me in The Fox Cities area of Wisconsin. We got hit Monday with a bad storm and an EF 3 tornado. It took out parts of our area and the City of Menasha got ripped apart. I was fortunate enough to be able to make a donation to help some. However it is something that will take more than a year to rebuild from. I was not hit directly from this but felt the effects of this as a sister church down the road was damaged severely on the outside but remained intact on the inside. For me I had a window pop out of my screen door and my laptop stopped working. Still does not work as of now. I have someone today coming by to look at it and hopefully getting it to work so I can use it again. I bought a cheap chromebook for now and I am locked out of my Facebook account. I am hoping he can help me with that one as well. But despite the setbacks this week our petition support did rise to 154 as I write this today. I know it is a relatively small number but this week my focus has been on the people in the area affected by the tornado. I felt they deserved my attention and assistance more this week and I am still keeping an eye on the church we are campaigning against so I know nothing is going on there. I did have someone who has not signed to visit the church on a Wednesday night service. He reported the opposite of what I am saying here. I told him of course they were nice to you. First he went he is someone new, so they want to be as welcoming as possible. Second he did not speak with Pastor Phil Bridges as he does not always do the Wednesday night service. Third the molesters are there on Sunday and not Wednesday. So he did not get a correct view of the church. I told him to try to go on a Sunday and meet the pastor and tell him where you really go to church and ask about the molesters and see what response you get. As far as I know he did not do that. Of course, why see the truth if you do not have to. Well stay safe everyone and keep promoting for me as I am at disadvantage currently. God Bless your week.
