First, let me thank you for your support: every signature helps get us nearer the magic 100,000 to get to Parliament. I already have offers of support by members of the House of Lords and Parliament.
I've approached cancer charities asking for their support by signposting to my petition but, for reasons that astound me, they say they cannot. One didn't even have the courtesy to respond.
I'm approaching various organisations who I feel have the right 'audience ' in an attempt to get them to signpost their members to the petition: I await a response. If you belong to a group who may help, please approach them.
We have nearly 76,000 signatures supporting this petition and many messages expressing thanks for making them aware they can self-refer. And, sadly, some whose cancer wouldn't have spread had they had a routine mammogram past 70.
This petition can save lives.
