In spite of the backlash from the "average" Myrtle Beach residents who pay at least $100 per year upwards in "Tourism Development Fees" while their paychecks remain BELOW SC and National average, their wealthy counterparts are set to again receive ten years of reduced property rates. Those rates equal thousands of dollars. It's doubtful the low income earners will EVER even have an opportunity to own real property such as Mayor Bethune and her Council, when they must pay an additional tax on most every purchase in the City limits, so the wealthy, such as Bethune, receive a 82% cut. And it's evident the wealthy don't morally or ethically care, as long as they get what they believe is rightiously due them. Sign and share.
