Bare Body Freedom Reality TV aka BBFRTV was met with confusion and dismay when it aired on all the major smart tv and mobile device apps for all the world to see, as it was not what all the world was expecting to see, a network of channels and series of episodes depicting the reality of nonchalant nakedness.
Ton Dou, its creator and executive producer was hopeful that BBFRTV programming would be an eye opening catalyst for the perception and appreciation of the inherent integrity of the natural human form and presence of the bare human body in a state of nonchalant nakedness publicly as well as privately.
Ton Dou believes this would ultimately lead to a healthier and happier humanity and a smarter and safer society as it would remedy the issues people have with themselves and others, reveal the potential for concern with the presence of others, and rid society of the stigmas associated with the nudity of others.
But most noteworthy perhaps, is his belief that “the war on simple nudity” (the suppression of the nonchalantly bare human body) in the view of the general public and in public television programming, “is a precursor to historical issues with human diversity and is akin to separatism in all of society today”.
Evidence of this, according to Ton Dou, are the never ending fights for particular freedoms rather than an all inclusive fight for all freedoms, and the ongoing efforts to stop hate crimes against an isolated ethnicity or origin of people rather than an all hands on deck coalescent effort from all people.
The dichotomy here, says Ton Dou, is inertia as opposed to impetus where problem versus progress is concerned, and that debating whether his approach is right or wrong is not the question, but that whether we will ever figure out how to effectively civilize society and heal humanity is!
Ton Dou regrets that Bare Body Freedom Reality TV was short lived and believes it had potential for becoming modern humanity’s finest hour on the air had it been able to reach and resonate with the masses of free spirited and free thinking people immediately after its launch.
