The Cold & Flu and Pollination seasons present difficult challenges, and we find ourselves dealing with the symptoms after the fact.

I have often avoided taking medicine for a sinus congestion headache because I believed I could find its origin and solve it there.

I have however taken medicine for a common cold because I cannot control its origin, and would rather not endure it and spread the germs.

The situation with the origin/s of COVID-19 and its variants is a lot like that of a common cold, and a vaccine is medicine in advance.
