EXCELENTEI SALE, DOMNUL KLAUS IOHANIS – PRESEDINTELE ROMANIEI

PARLAMENTULUI ROMANIEI
A venit randul capitalei.
In lumea a treia...
In plus, trebuie sa oprim furtul banului public.
Va cerem, acum in ceasul al doisprezecelea: RESPECT!

TO HIS EXCELLENCY, MR. KLAUS IOHANNIS- PRESIDENT OF ROMANIA,
MR. VICTOR VIOREL PONTA- PRIME-MINISTER,
TO THE ROMANIAN PARLIAMENT,
TO THE INTERIM MAYOR OF BUCHAREST
Dear Mr. President, Mr. Prime-Minister, Ladies and Gentlemen of the Parliament, Mr. Mayor,
We are in 2015, a year in which, as citizens of the European Union and of the world, we are witnessing a series of acts of unprecedented brutality and ferociousness. We are living times in which hundreds of thousands of dogs are killed in cruel ways under the watch and approval of the Romanian Government.
September 4th, 2013 marked the beginning of a black era for us. Under the false pretense of the tragic death of the child Ionut Anghel, the Parliament voted a law that threw Romania back 20 years of civilization. This is how it all started, an era of crime against nature, against common sense and the values of humanity.
The Mayor of Craiova, Lia Olguta Vasilescu, a person who does not care for animals and who encouraged and approved suffering among the animals and unprecedented torture, was the first person to announce killing all the dogs in the public shelter in Craiova.
Next to follow was the capital of Romania, Bucharest, where Razvan Bancescu (ASPA), a person without any morals and, being encouraged by the Mayor Sorin Oprescu, continued the massacre.
The Mayors of Timisoara and Slatina did not hesitate when they gave the order of sending all dogs to death. The poor animals who were unfortunate enough to get caught lived a time of unspeakable torture, a time in which death came as a blessing to them. Because there are worse things than death: starvation, torture, abuse. In these death camps, most of them managed by uneducated and cruel people, dogs are left with no food or water until they eat each other, they are kept injured, ill, out in the rain and cold. In these camps, the doctors who should treat and care for them watch them with indifference.
On the other hand, we can see that these mayors and their henchmen have made a lot of money by killing these dogs. Dogs are slaughtered and yet certain “humans” make great profits out of this business and from our paid taxes. Out of their desire to raise even more money, ASPA abusively broke into private properties and captured dogs with owners (dogs who miraculously died when the owners went to take them back). The Romanian Police, who should be defending the citizens, is an accomplice of the local administration. Moreover, with the support of the mass media and the local administration, the uneducated population of Romania received green light to massacre many dogs and cats. No animal was spared, all of it under the false pretense of avenging Ionut Anghel’s death.
Canada declared animals as non-human beings. Bulgaria issued a law by which killing an animal is misdemeanor, not only a contravention. The Netherlands freed all animals kept in Zoos. Where is Romania? The answer is simple, among the third world countries.
The dog was always considered, in all civilizations, as man’s best friend. For this and many more reasons, we, together, want to be heard, so that these acts of cruelty stop once and for all! The only decent way to do a proper animal control is neutering and prohibiting abandonment. Furthermore, you must stop these people from stealing the citizens’ money. Most of these mayors have open DNA case files. Everything we have described above is among the deeds investigated. Sorin Oprescu, mayor of Bucharest is arrested. Darius Valcov, former mayor of Slatina is arrested, and the examples could continue.
We ask, ladies and gentlemen, the following:
1. Dispose the annulment of all contracts between the City Hall and the private companies, contracts which make some people very rich. These contracts are coarse subterfuges through which the money coming from public taxes, money we pay, is misused.
2. Since the so-called “Ionut’s Law” has the norms suspended by the court of law, we ask that you revoke this law and introduce in the public debate a serious law that allows creating a partnership between the civil society, NGOs and private companies to create and manage public shelters for dogs.
We ask, Mr. President, Mr. Prime-Minister, Ladies and Gentlemen of the Parliament, Mr. Mayor that you stop being accomplices and partakers to these cruel acts and public money theft by certain persons with weak moral values.
We ask now, unfortunately too late, RESPECT! Respect for us, the citizens of Romania, people who pay taxes for your salaries.
Respect for life and nature!
We ask that you respect our right to dignity!
