Women's rights are the rights and entitlements claimed for women and girls worldwide, and formed the basis for the women's rights movement in the nineteenth century and feminist movement during the 20th century. The beginning of the women rights movement is considered to be the end of the War of the Independence, in which  the American colonist fought for political rights, and half of the American population were denied. Many of the population that were denied were women.

The two future founder of women's right were Elizabeth Cade Stanton and Lucretia Mott they began to be active after they undergone gender discrimination during the conference .The year 1848 was the starting point of the long struggle for rights of the women in the U.S.The declaration made by Elizabeth Cade Stanton was the " Declaration of Sentiments ", it is also sometimes called " Declaration of Rights and Sentiments ", which was signed during the Congress and Stanton accordingly approved that " all men and women were created equal "

The women's rights defenders have made significant progress in their countries including increased representation of women in political bodies, access to family planning, voting and outlawing of female genital mutilations. But the fight is still far from being over. I hope every woman and girl in the world can realize and  enjoy her human rights. When women and girls have full access to their rights, that's when true equality exist.

Women's rights are human rights , yet almost everywhere around the world, women and girls are still denied them, simply because of their gender.
